Huawei p8 lite breaks the record and becomes the most selling smartphone in 2015.

No doubt, the iPhone has got the looks but it is costly. Huawei has started the “P” smartphones in the previous year including P6, P8, P8 Lite, P8 Max etc which bombarded the market almost everywhere in the world.

The news is that, the Huawei has recently revealed about the more specifically P8 Lite:

“It has been our most selling smartphone in the last year. Our company has shipped more than 10 million of smartphone have been shipped to the whole world and a huge selling was in the Pakistan as well.”

The statistics provided by the company tells us that almost 16 million copies of the “P” series smartphones has been produced and sold last year.

But among the 16 million productions, most of the numbers goes to P8 Lite.

Pakistani researchers have developed wireless controlling system for electricity


Wireless technology is the most emerging technology in the world. It facilitates people with the communication purposes without physical medium (cable or wire). This wireless technology has a lot of research slots empty yet.

The world is transformed by the means of replacing these traditional wires and cables with this wireless technology. There are many applications of it ranging from your personal communication such as cell phones to world wide communication.

Researches from all the world are taking a lot of interest in advancing this technology to meet almost all the needs of people.

Talking about cell phone communication or using wi-fi internet is tiny bit of miracle it can do. The world has been successful in developing the wireless electricity supply to charge your mobile phones, batteries and other appliances.

Pakistani researchers are also taking interest in this incredible and useful technology. As the group of 3 boys and 1 girl from FAST-NUCES University, Lahore Pakistan has also developed a system that can control your home appliances without the need of so called WIRE.

They have developed a wireless sensor and actuator network to control your home environment. The name of the project is “EcoSens Wireless Sensor and Actuator Network” and it can monitor both the indoor and outdoor environmental conditions like temperature, air quality, atmospheric pressure, humidity, ambient light, soil moisture and occupancy.

EcoSens can control most of your applications like controlling bulb to glow, turning on heater, turning fan ON/OFF etc. This is done using Radio Frequencies (RF) which is connected to the web server, from where all the network can be control easily.

The skipper of the project Usman Maqsood talked to the MORE Magazine and described briefly about their struggle. He said:

“The website is on a local server for the time being as we are further upgrading the product. The development cost of this project was PKR 18,000 with five monitoring nodes and three control nodes (this is the standard package)”
