Alibaba to compete with Google Amazon Microsoft

It is very funny when I asked someone (who has been connected to Information Technology & Computer-related world since 14 to 15 years and also have done Ph. D as well) about Alibaba but he was not aware of what the heck it is.

If you don’t know about it as well then it’s the right time to get aware of it.

Alibaba is a one of the China’s ecommerce giant organizations who has been working on different IT related projects.

It is first org. which has opened a cloud data center outside its home market and expected to compete with IT giants as Google, Amazon and Microsoft.

The data center of Alibaba has been established in California State and began to operate since March 4, 2015 as reported on its official website.

It’s being the first data center for Alibaba outside China besides it has 5 data centers currently under execution, 4 in China and one in Hong Kong holding a fine percentage of share in the IT market of China.

It intends to compete with the IT giants inside US named Google, Amazon and Microsoft by giving different services of cloud computing and also intends to sell cloud services to IT companies in United Sates of America.

“This is a very strategic move for us,” Ethan Yu, Alibaba vice president in charge of the international cloud business, told Reuters“International expansion is actually a company strategy in the coming years.” The company is planning to expand to Southeast Asia and Europe by the end of the year, according to Yu. “We’re going to do this step-by-step, in a phased way. The U.S. is already there.”
